Our Purpose

We are not meant to walk alone while homeschooling our kids.  Charlotte's Web was created to give direct, personal support to fellow CM educators, with the goal of building confidence and bringing peace of mind in their home education pursuits.

Child Touching Globe

Our Story

I (Amy) began our co-op in my home many years ago, and then, as with so many things, life and COVID interrupted our plans. As I worked to provide a full Charlotte Mason education for my own children, I realized that rushing to multiple outside co-ops during the week was taking too much away from our home and our days. At the same time, I kept hearing from families who wanted a Charlotte Mason co-op but had no local options.

I started with a small group of students studying Plutarch, and from there we have steadily grown, adding more teachers and welcoming more families each year. This work is a ministry to us, which is why our prices remain lower than most online platforms. Our goal is to come alongside parents—to support them, fill in gaps where needed, and provide a rich, safe, and thoughtfully formed education for their children.

What began with just a few families six years ago now includes hundreds of students. Our community spans the globe, with students in Colombia, Ireland, Germany, and throughout the United States, giving our children the opportunity to learn alongside others far beyond their local circles.

About Us

We are a few seasoned Charlotte Mason educators who wish we had a helping hand when starting out!  Together, we have over 40 years of homeschooling/teaching experience, with various degrees and backgrounds ranging from education, science, music, to social sciences.  Having spent countless hours learning ourselves and learning valuable lessons along the way, we share a common passion for helping others in their homeschooling journey.  No parent should have to do it alone and we are here to help you find connection, peace, and support in your Charlotte Mason home. Our children have reaped the rewards of a CM education—including:

  • earning a full-tuition four-year scholarship

  • completing a college degree before turning 18

  • winning a U.S. State Department scholarship to study abroad for one year (Jordan)

  • developing fluency in Arabic, Latin, and Spanish

  • awarded a summer internship in high school with VASTS

  • awarded a summer internship working as a software engineer for the U.S. Navy

We share this not to brag on ourselves, but to show the amazing worth of a CM education in bringing out your child’s potential.  All glory goes to God alone.
