Our courses begin in 8th grade, we recommend in 7th grade to complete Paragraph Town by MCT or a similar program before beginning the 8th grade Essay Writing course.

Completion of certain courses is required before enrolling in subsequent courses (as indicated by an asterisk). In particular, Essay Voyage (or an equivalent program) must be successfully completed before progressing to Writing With Clarity. The Rhetoric course is not mandatory; however, it is strongly recommended if time allows. The flow chart is intended as a set of guidelines to help families plan the sequence of study across academic years.
